Don't jump, Sam!

Clash of the Titans star Sam Worthington has another starring role, this time as a wrongfully convicted cop in Man on the Ledge.

Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot, Jumper) has also joined the cast and there is word Amy Adams and Anthony Mackie (The Hurt Locker) are in talks as well.

The Hollywood Reporter"s Heat Vision blog describes the plot about "an ex-cop-turned-con threatens to jump to his death from a Manhattan hotel rooftop. The NYPD dispatches a female police psychologist to talk him down but, unbeknownst to the cops on the scene, the suicide attempt is a cover for a massive diamond heist. "

The script was originally written by Pablo Fenjves and is now getting a rewrite by  Erich and Jon Hoeber (Red). Asger Leth will direct and Lorenzo di Bonaventura will produce.

Sam Worthington will reprise his role as Perseus in the Clash of the Titans 2. He also appears with Helen Mirren in the drama The Debt out in theatres on December 29. There is no release date so far for his romantic comedy, Last Night, with Keira Knightley.
