Leonardo DiCaprio

Leo Dicaprio no longer wants to work with Mel Gibs

Before Mel Gibson became plagued with his domestic violence scandal, Leonardo DiCaprio was set to be directed by Gibson in Viking, the actor has now changed his mind.

Radar Online reports that the Titanic star withdrew from the project because he wishes to distance himself from Gibson's personal scandals. Asked if he may reconsider his decision, a source said, "not a chance."

"Leo has earned the right to pick and choose who he works with and Mel Gibson is not one of them."

DiCaprio has been an A-list movie star for some time, and is one of the most bankable male leads of all time. His latest film, Inception, has been in theatres for two weeks and has already made more than $ 240 million in worldwide box office.

In October, he'll play J. Edgar Hoover, one of the founders of the FBI, in a film directed by Clint Eastwood.
